I worked at at Hasbro in 2019 for 7 months as a Design Engineer co-op where I supported the development of products in my department and helped with early proof of concept prototypes for potential products. I had a blast working here and learned so much from many colleagues and friends. It felt quite different working at a company with 5000+ employees compared to my previous internship experience being at a startup product consultancy in NYC with a team of 8 engineers and designers.

During my time at Hasbro, I worked on numerous projects, not all of which I am able to show. Below is a snippet of work that I am able to show online and photos of my team and colleagues that I worked with, but if you'd like to learn more about my experience at Hasbro, feel free to reach out to me by clicking here!

    Project Howler

One of the first projects I worked on required me to make a prototype to serve as a proof of concept during the early stages of development for this idea/toy.

    Talking Deadpool Head (Marvel Legends)

I worked closely with my team to support the development of this interactive talking Deadpool head. I programmed and animated a looks-like prototype that was heavily used for internal meetings and marketing that was key to the success of the product's release. In addition to animating a talking head, I created multiple infographics that were used to help with conversations and work with contractors who were helping develop this product.

    Soft Robotics

I was able to perform my own research and exploration into making soft robotic grippers with the intention of incorporating these designs into a toy. This was my first introduction into designing molds and casting in various silicone materials.

    Light-Up Name Plates

As a parting gift to my entire department, I wanted to design and make individual name plates for each of my colleagues. I thought a unique nameplate would be a cool addition to anyone's desk, so I made one with the logo and theme of the department we were all in.
